A little while ago I stumbled across an Olympus Trip 35.  When I say stumbled, I had actually been looking for one for a while, but for some reason didn't want to buy one over eBay, not sure why, but I just didn't. So when I came across one at a local thrift store I was a little excited. It was in mint condition, it was $4.99 and it was perfect.

The truth is I have a bit of an obsession with older analogue cameras, not box brownie old, more 1960's - 1980's old. Again, not sure why.  Maybe it stems back to my childhood. I grew up with a working dark room at my house. My dad was a photographer and I remember countless rainy saturday afternoons fumbling around with the red light on, learning from Dad, developing film. It was a great time in my life. So I grew up learning photography on his Canon AE-1. He still has that camera, and it still works....and I still harass him about passing it on to me :) I don't plan on shooting a whole bunch with that camera, it more symbolises my childhood.

So until I can 'find' a Canon AE-1, here are a few random shots that I took with the Olympus Trip over the past few months.

Lovely photos Jason. There's something about film, the depth, the texture. SO beautiful. I love film, I grew up with film as well alongside with Dad.
